The PV for S/mileage’s 2nd indie single titled Asu wa DEETO na noni Ima Sugu Koe ga Kikitai has been released. The PV was released only on the Single V which was sold only at official H!P shops.

I really liked the PV, especially the loos storyline they added in. There are two things that stood out for me, first the princess sections. The giant fluffy telephones were slightly awkward, but other than that they were a great addition.

Second, the cards they are playing with around 2:38. I think the people who made the PV had the idea of showing that some dates are bad and you have to wait for that special person, but I think they could have done slightly better with the deck of card choice (“Date is the worst” sounds slightly strange). The plastic horses were a surprising addition (not the best quality but still fit the theme), and near the end when they where waving it reminded me of Morning Musume’s “Ambitious”.

Overall I really liked the PV, the shots they included are a great improvement from their last PV. The costumes were a great choice since they fit the mood of the song best, and the dance was cute and original. Hopefully the next PV follows the same theme as this one, but with a slightly catchier song.

I really don’t like S/mileage but this pv is really cute ^_^! Everytime I hear this song I think “I might start liking this if I listen to it enough” but then I hear that “aiaiaiaiai” thing and it thows me all off.(Is it just me or does Kanon look alot like Kago in this vid)

Kanon looks a lot like Kago since she joined :p According to fans her looks and personality are similar to Kago’s, and I have to agree ^_^

The “aiaiaiaiai” part was slightly weird, mostly because after Maeda sings that part she just stares at the camera moving her hand….@_@ But yeah I have to agree, that “aiaiaiaiai” sounds a bit strange.

Ah, there goes in the “phone” parts, and again with the love-related stuff sung and danced to by kids, but we all know that (now with a Christmas twist, first time for me!).

The title means something along the lines of “I wish I could hear your voice now even though our date is tomorrow”.

Yeah I guess you are probably right, it makes more sense when you explain it like that XD

    About the cards:
I think they are on the point of “will this day be good for a date?” kind of fortune telling, not about a date itself.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what the title translates to :).
