Yuuka, Kanon and Wada In New Anime Unit: Lilpri

Maeda Yuuka, Fukuda Kanon, and Wada Ayaka have just been announced to be part of an anime unit titled Lilpri (the romaji for the name is Rirupuri). Their first single titled Little ❤ Princess has also been announced for release.

Since the start of the anime we found out that Yuuka, Wada and Kanon sang the OP song, and knowing UFA it was very likely that we would see it in some way released on a CD or album, but the surprising move is that they formed an anime unit and will release it under the group name Lilpri.

As for the song that will be released (preview below) it fits the anime well since it is upbeat and happy (imagine what the OP of a girl anime sounds like and you got a good idea) and I have to admit that it sounds great since their voices all mix in really well.

We will most likely get some sort of PV from this release (most, if not all, anime units do) so I look forward to hearing the full version of the song and c/w, as well as finding out what the covers and possible PV will look like.

The release date is set for 6/16.

    Don’t feel bad for Ogawa Saki. These three got parts in a new anime, and Saki was given the chance to become a Mushi Girl and later be promoted to an Oha Girl on “OhaSuta”. She appears every week on TV. :)

    And to the unit, I love it. I’ve loved the song since I started watching the show, so I’m excited. I hope we do get a PV.

    Awesome! A new unit! Even if it’s just for the anime, it’s great to see another group from H!P, especially since the end of Chugo Chara! and Kirarin Revolution, diminished the unit count by 3. I look forwards to hearing more from them ❤

    Funny how this came up after Shugo Chara just ended XD I like the OP and I was hoping it would be in a single or something, but what about poor Saki (T-T) I hope she gets a unit or something later on…

    Aaah, I feel bad for Ogawa. :( Maybe it’s my prejudice against Dawa talking here, but I’d have preferred Ogawa in this unit. xD;
