The PB cover for Suzuki Airi’s 5th PB titled Toukoubi has been released.
The cover features Airi as a normal school student, without any makeup and with a “just out of the pool/shower” hairstyle, and while it does seem a bit simple at first glance I love how it looks overall since it matches perfectly with the “school” theme in the title.
I was a bit surprised when I saw the cover since I expected to see a different theme, but the idea of having Airi not wear that much makeup along with a simple hairstyle and a school uniform makes the theme of the PB a bit more believable.
As expected of PBs the title is somewhat hard to see at first glance since it is on the left of the cover in plain white letters, but they add a bit more to the simple theme, and since they are the only words on the cover they stand out a bit more than usual.
Overall the cover has a simple theme with Airi sporting a more natural look, but combined with the simple title art it really brings out the theme of the book and makes it seem a bit more realistic.
Hopefully all Airi fans can get a copy of the PB when it is released in a few days.
The release date is set for 8/20.
