“Morning Musume Alo Hello! 4″ Blu-ray Announced

A Blu-ray edition of Morning Musume’s Alo Hello! 4 has been announced.

I’m somewhat surprised that they decided to release Momusu’s 4th Alo Hello! in blu-ray since sales for the original DVD weren’t that high, although it is a great chance for many fans who didn’t buy it the first time to own a copy in higher quality.

The content for the blu-ray will most likely be the same as the original DVD so there will probably not be that many surprises, although I am a bit curious as to how the many scenes will look in blu-ray quality (especially the Genki Pika Pika! PV).

Despite not being the best selling Alo Hello I do look forward to finding out how it looks in blu-ray quality, so hopefully we get some previews or CMs in a few weeks.

The release date is set for 11/24.

    In Japan,all analog TV broadcasting will end in next July. Peoples who have only analog TV tuner ( usually DVD recorder has this function) will become to be unable to watch digital TV broadcasting. So.having Blu-ray recorder percentage is rapidly glowing now. But there are many peoples and H!P fans who have not Blu-ray recorder/player still now. Japanese H!P fans often complains that Up Front releases Blu-ray soft after DVD releasing without no announcement.
    I suppose Blu-ray player spread rate will become high,Up Front may release
    only Blu-ray format. A transition from normal DVD to Blu-ray may be rapidly
    done like VHS/DVD case. Up Front is very challenging about taking in new
    technology, so H!P’s 3D Blu-ray soft may be released in near future.

      I’m glad to hear about the change in signals since it will most likely mean more blu-rays in the future, and like you mentioned they will probably replace DVDs in the near future ^_^

      Hopefully this soon means that we will see blu-rays instead of the normal DVD in limited edition singles (although it is still a bit early to say that) ^o^
