A full preview of Berryz Koubou’s 24th single titled Shining Power has been released.
For the most part the song follows the same beat as the first half we heard so there aren’t that many surprises, although it is nice to hear that Kumai got the lead in this song since her voice fits the song well (Risako, Momo among others got many lines as well so it isn’t a Kuma-only song).
The song impressed me since the first time I heard it but when I heard the full version I loved it even more since the beat is calm but catchy at the same time, and even though it isn’t the upbeat rock single Maji Bomber! I love how they went for a different sound since it was a very interesting change.
Even though it might not be upbeat it is a great song by itself, and I am very impressed with what I have heard so far since the calm beat combined with the Kumai lead and the many other member lines combine to form an amazing song with a powerful ballad sound.
Hopefully all Berryz fans buy the single since this is definitely looking like a very impressing release already, and even though we haven’t seen the covers for the single, a PV preview, or a radio preview of the b-side I am confident that this will be an amazing release by Berryz.
We should get a preview of the outfits for this song sometime soon so hopefully they give us a look at the theme of the song.
The release date is set for 11/10.
