The cover for Lilpri’s 2nd single titled Idolulu has been released.
For the most part the cover fits the theme of the anime perfectly since it is brightly colored with many different accessories and a pink background, and even though it seems to be a bit too colorful for my taste it will most likely be loved by their target audience (girls who watch the anime).
The costumes that Maeda, Kanon, and Wada have are somewhat hard to see (especially Kanon’s) but from what I can tell they have on brightly colored dresses and the colorful wigs they use when cosplaying as the characters in the anime, and I like how they look since they seem to go well with the colorful background.
Overall it’s a great cover for the upbeat song and the anime, and even though it is a bit blindingly colorful it will most likely sell well among fans of the anime.
Hopefully all fans who like the song buy a copy of the single to support Lilpri.
The release date is set for 11/17.
