Kamei, Jun Jun, and Lin Lin Graduation Concert To Be Broadcast In 3D

adode13 November 16, 2010 16

According to Natalie.mu the Yokohama Arena graduation concert for Kamei Eri, Jun Jun, and Lin Lin will be broadcast in 3D live on TV.

The concert will be re-broadcasted in January in 2D.

When I saw this announcement I was very excited (to say the least) since this means that fans who can’t attend the concert will be able to see it in their own home in 3D live, which is incredible news since we won’t have to wait until the DVD is released.

Many fans stated months ago that they would like to see the concert being broadcast on Ustream for everyone to enjoy, and I’m glad that UFA decided not only to broadcast the concert live, but to do so in 3D on TV since it is an amazing opportunity for everyone to join all of Momusu as three members graduate (and most likely the new members are introduced).

Apart from that fans who don’t have 3D glasses, miss the broadcast, or simply want to see it again will be able to do so next year (January 1) in 2D, which is another amazing bonus since it gives fans a chance to see the broadcast without having to have 3D glasses.

I’m glad that UFA has decided to do this since it is a unique moment in Momusu history, and since it will be available to all fans (with access to the channels) it is a great way for casual fans or curious listeners to tune in and watch the concert.

It would be great if we could get the concert released in 3D, but we will have to wait for the announcement to find out if we will get that or the usual DVD + Bluray release, but I really hope we can see the 3D concert being released in some way.

Overall this is amazing news for Momusu fans since it gives us a chance to see the concert from our own homes, and even though it can’t compare to being there in person it is the second best thing for all fans to enjoy.

Hopefully all fans spread the word and tune into the broadcast when the concert begins in December.

The concert will air live on 12/15 from 18:30 – 21:30 on SKY channel 3D 169, the 2D broadcast will be on 1/1/2011 from 21:00 – 23:30 on SKY channel HD800, HD190, and 180.

Does it say where you can get glasses? Im going to try and get tickets to the actual thing but in case I cant I was hoping to watch the broadcast. I dont speak Japanese, So going to the actual live performace might be difficult.

From what I understand the broadcast will only be in Japan so I’m not really sure if we will get a chance to see it, and since there are many different types of 3D I’m not really sure which one pair of glasses will work but I would suggest either buying a pair online (they are really cheap) or making your own (there are many guides available online) ^_^

As for not speaking Japanese, there are most likely going to be quite a few English speaking fans at the live performance, so if you go I would suggest that you hang out with them since they might be able to help you if you need help ^_^

I examined and telephoned to Skyperfec TV .then,I knew followings.
1.Skyperfct TV is japanese pay per view TV station, provides many programs
through cable or antenna.(different from normal digital station,NHK,TV Tokyo etc.
2.Regrettably,they said this TV station can not be watched in foreign country.
Please refer to wikipedia about sky–English page:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SKY_PerfecTV!
    —————–
And about “Sukachan 3D 169″—This is a name of 3D specialized TV station,
a division of Skyperfec TV,founded in this year.(=this station will air 12/15′s
concert in 3D).This is the first 3D station in Japan ,so,when I telephoned to
Skyperfec or Sony, they were often confused by my questions. For watching
this 3D program,it is needed 3D TV display and for recording,3D blu-ray recorder is necessary. (Both are not so expensive.I have not both, but I want to try it.) And this program is permitted “copy once”,—this means we can
“move”(not copy) only one time from recorder to Blu-ray disk. and I want to
search the way of introducing this program’s video image to foreign fans.

Thanks for finding out more about the broadcast ^_^

It’s somewhat disappointing that it won’t be available for foreign countries, but it’s great that you found out ^_^

Hopefully we can see it in some way when it airs, but if it isn’t possible I look forward to seeing the 2D broadcast on 1/1 ^_^

      Thank you! ^o^

    • Lea

      I second this question.

    • adode136

To be honest, I have no idea XD

      Hopefully fans who are familiar with SKY can help since I don’t really know much about how it works ^_^;

  • Hannah

SKY channel? Does that mean it will air in the UK?
Since the main TV provider in the UK is SKY which has over 900 channels

    • adode136

The Natalie.mu article says SKY and the specific channel so I’m not sure if it will, but it doesn’t hurt to check out the channel when the concert starts in Japan to find out if it will be ^_^

  • Lulu

    OMG! Thats really cool!

    I HAVE 3D GLASSES, but I dont have a Japanese TV.. T_T

    How can I watch it?… T-T

    • adode136

I am not really sure if this will be a Japanese only broadcast, but hopefully we find out soon ^_^

I’m very glad to read this news! I believe Up Front is very eager to take in new
tecknology. The TV station of this program is “Sukachan 3D 169″ that was
established in this june,3D specialized station and first time in japan . And Sony
or Panasonic released 3D Blu-ray recorder in this autumn. I predict H!P concert’s
3D Blu-ray may be released in next year. If we can watch 3D concert in very
large TV display,it must be revolutional, and that day will surely come.

    • adode136

I’m really excited about this news as well since that means that we will most likely see 3D concerts being released sometime in the future, and hopefully they are released in 3D Bluray as you suggested since that would mean an incredible way for H!P fans to enjoy concerts in their home ^_^
