The PB cover for Yajima Maimi’s 5th solo PB titled Tabi Oto has been released.
When I first saw the cover, I didn’t recognize Maimi at first since she really looks different in a good way; her make up and hair styling makes her look more mature, and her pose overall catched my attention before her face that reveals an amazing soft expression.
For me, this cover is really a great step from the still cover she had for her 4th PB, and I like it for more than one reason, but mostly thanks to the elegance and natural beauty Maimi is giving off with her blue swimsuit against her very fair skin accentuated with flashy lipstick and a dark background (as well as the sand that is kind of darker than usual), since the whole contrast really make her stand out amongst everything else, and the calm yet piercing facial expression she has makes it all the more special, specially with her elegant pose on the water that’s making her look like a mermaid with her hair flowing behind her.
Apart from that, the cover mainly just focuses on Maimi which is really better than having a bright background or many additions that would take that focus away from her, and I love how the title is written in small black katakana characters that attract the eye only after having seen Maimi.
Overall, I’m really in love with how beautiful this cover looks since it emanates the natural elegance and charm that Maimi has, so hopefully all of her fans will be able to reserve a copy to support her and enjoy an amazing new release.
Hopefully we’ll get to see the limited edition’s cover of this PB that Maimi has recently announced to be designing herself!
