C-ute will be releasing their 7th album titled Dai Nana Sho Utsukushikutte Gomen ne in February.
When I first read the news, I was overwhelmed with joy since C-ute’s last album was really amazing, containing a perfect mix of singles and a variety of new songs, but the best part about this new album, apart from the fact that it’s a proof of C-ute’s growing fanbase, is that the album will contain 7 new songs and only 3 singles from Momoiro Sparkling until Amazuppai Haru ni Sakurasaku.
Even though usually groups don’t release albums that often since they seem to wait for at least 3 or 4 singles to have been released before doing so, it’s nice to see that C-ute didn’t follow that pattern since fans will get to enjoy, apart from the 3 happy singles, 7 new songs that were described as a charm that shows C-ute going one step closer to becoming adults, so expecting some variety in the sound of this album is what makes me the most excited, knowing that C-ute always manage to pull off any kind of songs, weither they are deep and mature or happy an cute.
Apart from that, not many info was released except for the title, the content and the release date, but I would like to note that the title itself already has a very mature sound to it since it’s something along the lines of Sorry for being beautiful, and since it has a nostalgic feel to it, I’m more and more interested in finding out how the songs will turn out to be since with 7 new songs, a great variety is expected.
Hopefully all of C-ute’s fans will soon start reserving their copies of the album to support C-ute and enjoy their new sound, so hopefully some previews will be out soon enough for everyone to judge for themselves weither they will like this album or not.
The release date is set for 2/8.
