LQ covers for Kikkawa Yuu’s debut album titled One For YOU! have been released on Universal Music Japan’s official website.
Since we recently got the announcement of the album alongside with the tracklist and release date, I didn’t expect more details concerning this release to come out anytime soon, but it seems like all necessary information concerning Kikka’s debut album is being revealed right from the start,probably because of the release date that isn’t that far away anymore, and I can’t say it depleases me since we really get to take an overall look at this release.
The covers are really some of the best pictures of Kikka I have seen since the start of her career since both feature her spotting her great smile, and even if her facial expression on both covers is quite similar, each one has a different winter-related concept that sets them apart since Regular Edition focuses more on her face since she’s wearing a simple blouse with her hair styled down against a fair background, while Limited Edition features a more complex pose with Kikka looking up to the sky in a somewhat attractive outfit consisting of a pink sweater and a fur hat with a colored background of what seems to be a city.
Overall, those covers are really great and I can’t wait to see them in HQ, and even though some fans would have preferred different settings than the usual close-up, I think that those pictures are really amazing even if they follow a similar pattern.
The release date is set for 1/18.
