New solo DVDs for S/mileage members Maeda Yuuka and Wada Ayaka, both currently untitled, have been announced.
I was surprised to say the least when I saw that Yuuka and Dawa will both be getting new solo DVDs soon, mostly because of Yuuka’s graduation that is coming up in few days since a new Ayacho DVD is more plausible, but either way, I’m really excited about the pace the releases for S/mileage members are going since it seems like fans will not be bored and will always have something to enjoy the members.
Since no information whatsoever about the DVDs was released, apart from the fact that they exist and their release date, I’d like to note that it seems like work on them hasn’t started yet since the release date for Yuuka’s PB alone is in mid-February which is more than 1 month after her graduation, and even though this seems a little wrong considering she will not be here by then to promote it, I still think this is a great opportunity for her fans to enjoy a last DVD release from her apart from her 2nd PB since Yuuka is one of the most enjoyable members, and as for Dawa, considering her first DVD got a big success among fans who all reported it was great, I’m expecting nothing less than her energetic personality to be shown alongside various shots to show off her natural beauty.
Overall, I wasn’t expecting this release at all but I hope that fans of Ayaka and Yuuka will both be anticipating those releases since it’s a great way to enjoy them and support the members at the same time, so hopefully we’ll get more information soon, mostly the titles.
The release date for Yuuka’s DVD is set for 2/15.
The release date for Ayaka’s DVD is set for 3/7.
