The setlist for Michishige Sayumi and Tanaka Reina’s Premium Christmas Dinner Show has been released.
Christmas dinner shows are usually great opportunities for fans since the members can perform in a more exclusive area for their fans. That combined with the freedom to sing whatever song they want is the best since fans can enjoy a more natural performance from their favorite idol along with a luxurious setting.
For this event we get to see Sayu and Reina perform around 11 songs (13 counting the medley separately), more than half of them from other groups or artists, like SPEED, SCANDAL, Mano, Perfume, and even Ayaya. It’s very rare to see them perform songs from other groups but it’s great that they can since it’s very interesting to hear how a song would sound if sung by another artist.
The most important song is Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni, since it’s after all “Eri’s song” sung on her birthday. It’s really nice to see them perform the song since it shows off the strong bond they have for each other.
This looks like a perfect performance for fans who attended, and while it might be over and a DVD will probably not be released I hope we get to see more shows like these in the future.
