Morning Musume 9th & 10th Gen Online Talk Show Announced

ladylibra92 December 26, 2011 9

Morning Musume’s 9th and 10th gen members will be starting an online talk show for FC members.

First it’s great news that the Kyuukies and Juukies will be able getting a talk show since  we can see their true personalities, especially in the case of the Juukies. Also since it’s online there’s a few advantages to that, FC members from all over the world can check it out and seeing as it’s already online, I’m sure someone will be kind enough to share screencaps/clips of the talk show with other non-FC members.

I’m glad that they got the opportunity to do this talk show but lately it feels like Morning Musume is two separate groups now that they get this online talk show. The promotional outfits for their next single, the cover for Hello!Channel 7 and now the talk show seems to divide the groups into senior/junior and it just feels like the group isn’t one anymore.

Regardless of that I hope the other members will be able to make an appearance once in awhile since I understand that they do have busy schedules and hopefully if this is a success with the FC, they can open up the talk show to viewers all over the world.

The talk show will start 1/12.

    Sounds good to me :3

I also don’t think they’ll separate into two different groups but it does feel like they’re two different groups. I also know that Risa will probably be the next to go just because of her age but I think she’ll probably stick around for another year to train the new members.

I have been having an odd feeling as of late that Risa and Reina will be the next ones out in the not so far future. I just don’t see Risa staying in the group until she is 24 or 25. I think Reina will leaving will also be more noticeable once they start giving most of the line to Riho. Sayu might stick around just because Sayu is Sayu. As for Aika…I’m kinda surprised she is still there. They have done nothing with the poor girl at all. Even Kei got more air play then Aika does.

Huh it does seem like they are different groups, but I do NOT think that they’ll make two different groups for real. Its just too unlikely. They’ll seem more like a real group when the pv comes out :)

Well.. we already had a similar situation in the past when Kaori, Nacchi and Mari (and Kei) were large-gapped seniors to 8, later 12 members. It’s not really new and I feel like there isn’t really a difference betweencthen and now.

I think this is cute. The kyuukies still are pretty fresh but have experience (especially with Ustreams and the like) and we haven’t seen too much of the jyuukies, so they’ll be getting some exposure too. And they get to interact with each other!
I think it’s awesome. The senior members seem more busy anyways.

I mean I guess. But I thought this was cute! Juukies are barely starting out and kyuukies have some experience, I feel like this is good for them ^^
And these are the outfits for their next single?? :DD

This is a good thing… however, I agree. They feel like separate groups – and with all the huge risks being taken lately with the groups in H!P, I wouldn’t be surprised it this were to actually happen. If the three remaining senior members were “graduated” into some sort of separate unit until they graduate H!P and become full on adult members of the Up Front Agency doing acting, promoting, and whatnot. With the Morning Musume reboot — not sure else what to call it — I can totally see the 9th and 10th gen going through some sort of promotion ceremony or something much like the S/mileage submembers and becoming Morning Musume perhaps with a catchy tag line. The three remaining seniors are very talented, and will probably – with the right promotion – go on to have long host/solo/acting careers of their own. I can see the producers pushing this along.

MASSIVE apologies!! I forgot completely about Mitsui Aika. I had always thought she was good, but had a personal neutrality when it came to her. And with her having been gone such a long time, I sort of almost forgot… I said “three” seniors. I meant four. So so sorry!
