The cover, tracklist, and a short MV preview for StylipS’s 1st single titled STUDYxSTUDY has been released.
The cover is for the limited edition of the single, the regular version features a character from the anime.
Nocchi and Ogura Yui fans will be glad to hear that more info has been released for this new unit’s debut single. A HQ cover preview, as well as a full tracklist and an MV preview are all great things to see before the release of the single, and while a full PV might not be available at this time it should be enough for many to make their minds up and decide whether or not to get the single.
For the most part I expected a techno, upbeat song since the members are basically Team Dekaris with a different theme, and I wasn’t surprised to hear digital drums and the upbeat vocals at the start of the song. Despite that the song is cute and fans of the group will most likely not be disappointed with it, although if you’re not a fan you’ll probably be a bit disappointed since it seems to have a very generic instrumental and sound that doesn’t really have any kind of hooks or catchy parts.
The MV is pretty cute since it has a dance shot on a roof with impressive movements, and with the scenes of the girls singing their solo line and meeting up with the others in a casual (but over acted in some places) way it really makes it a fun addition to the release. The outfits and general look for the group are the best since it has a simple but fashionable look that many will love since it doesn’t distract from the group that much.
It’s a really good release for fans of each one of the members, and while it might not have that much appeal (at least to me) it’s a cute release and worth a listen, so I highly encourage everyone to check out the preview below.
