Top: Regular ; Bottom: Limited
HQ covers for Berryz Koubou’s 8th album titled Ai no Album 8 have been released.
When we first got a look at the tiny LQ covers, I really didn’t know if I liked them or not since many details were still unnoticed, but now that we got the HQ versions, I’m positive that those covers are really great since the girls really make us see a solid group image and they all look beautiful.
The regular edition cover is my favorite since the girls are just standing next to each other in a close-up shot where everyone is either smiling happily or waving with their hands, and the smiles on their faces as well as the way they are positionned makes it look amazing, and combined with the beautiful rainbow-shaded background, it makes and overall even cover that is colorful and reserved at the same time.
The limited edition cover is a little more nostalgic and deep where we get to see the members posing on grass next to a castle in the background, and the way everyone is starring away at the sky makes it look really unique, specially with Miya and Yurina’s dominating poses as well as Risako’s glorious posture, and the effects on this cover are truly amazing since the shades match perfectly together.
Apart from that, the title is written in a very elegant style and the gold color used isn’t too flashy which is perfect, and I love how the “8″ is colored in a rainbow since the overall sparkly theme of the title goes surprisingly well with the covers and match the outfits, and I also like how they changed the logo for the group’s name to make it match the elegant theme.
Overall, those covers are really impressive since everyone looks amazing in them to say the least and they are very well edited, so hopefully fans have their copies reserved!
The release date is set for 2/22.
