A live performance of Berryz Koubou’s “Be Genki <Naseba naru!>” has been released.
When I first saw the outfits for the single I always thought the song would be something like Heroine ni narou ka, or something with a very serious feel like their previous singles. I was definitely wrong when I heard the song. It’s a extremely catchy song and it’s also cute.
The beginning of the song didn’t stand out too much for me but getting towards the chorus the instrumentals as well as the vocals caught my attention because it was just so catchy. The chorus does sound a bit generic idol like but it’s been a while since we’ve had this type of music for Berryz Koubou so it seems fresh and new.
The live performance also had a really cute dance to it and it matches the song though I’m not sure if that will be the dance featured on the PV. Everyone did sounded great in the live performance so I’m really looking forward to seeing the PV soon.
Since the video isn’t officially done by UFA, please check it out soon before it’s removed. We haven’t had much previews of this since the H!P 2012 concerts so I recommend everyone check it out before it’s removed.
