Report: Buono! Concert In Paris

Time again for another report!

For those who might not be familiar with my “reports” it’s basically a post with all of the images, videos, and information I could get from a certain event from various fan forums and sites. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend the event, but thanks to all of the fans who did attend and have generously shared their images, videos, and experiences, those of us who weren’t able to attend can almost feel like we were there.

First of all, it was a very rare opportunity to see an H!P group appear outside of an anime convention, since all of the previous overseas appearances seem to have been done that way. It’s understandable since that’s the way many Japanese groups make their debut in the US, and by appearing at an event the costs for transportation are lower. Buono’s low member total is probably a reason why they decided to try performing at a venue instead of at a convention, and for the most part it seems like it was a success.

There isn’t that much to say about the other events since the reports I found are usually restricted to the concert, so I’ll mostly post pictures for everyone to check out, starting off with some showing Buono enjoying the city before the big day:

There were two primary events: the autograph event and the concert itself. Unfortunately I can’t find that many reports about the autograph sessions but from what I can tell it was a very unique experience since there was a special Paris album that was released which features their singles:

The album, shirts, and posters were revealed a few days before the event, but I’m glad to see that there was a chance for fans to get an original PB, along with 3 other PBs from previous concerts, 6 different small towels as well as two other full size towels featuring the members in different outfits.

The venue for the concert was packed as you can tell from the pictures below. It’s really impressive to see so many fans gather together and help support Buono in their first performance in Paris, and while it was really cold (apparently it was -6 Celsius with winds) fans really showed their support by enduring that to enjoy the concert.

Moving on to the concert it seems like it was somewhat packed since there doesn’t seem to be that much room, although this is an advantage since fans along the stage could get closer and cheer along everyone else. There were a few surprises like a message from the Up Up Girls as well as the PV for Dream Morning Musume and Sayaka.

Buono! Concert In Paris

It was an eventful weekend for both fans and Buono members alike, although sadly all things have to come to an end. This is the 1st time an H!P group performed at a venue overseas outside of an anime convention, and from what I can tell it seems like there was a positive turn out, so hopefully it won’t be the last.
