A DVD Box and DVDs vol. 1 ~ 4 have been announced for Hello! Project’s drama Suugaku Joshi Gakuen.
It has been some time since the drama started so it was natural for us to see some kind of DVD release being announced, and while DVDs alone might be enough for many it’s great to see that they went the extra mile and also plan on releasing a DVD box with some extras for everyone to enjoy.
Naturally the box has the most bonuses with an extra Kotatsu talk from Reina and Sayu, an audio commentary, and a 42 page booklet, which seems like the perfect way for a fan of the show to enjoy the series fully. The DVDs have slightly less impressing extras but they are still great nonetheless since Reina, Sayu, C-ute, and Berryz get offshots, and there are some booklets included as well.
I can’t say that I’m a regular viewer of the show since it’s a bit hard to keep up when you don’t know Japanese at a fluent level, but for those who have seen the series I encourage you to consider getting the DVDs since it’s a great way to relive this unique all-H!P drama.
Hopefully everyone who is interested gets a copy of the DVDs or the DVD box once they are released!
The release date is set for 5/29.
