The cover for the physical release of Up Up Girl’s first single titled Going My ↑ (Way) has been released.
We already got a lot of previews and hints from the girls on their Ustream show about what the concept of the cover will be like, and I’m glad that we finally get to see it in HQ since it’s a great way for fans everywhere to know what to expect from this release that will be sold at the UUG’s live events, and that is already on iTunes for worldwide purchase.
The cover is really original and unique, and I particularly love how they managed to match the single’s title with everything in the cover: the girls are all in their respective stage outfits of the unified plaid skirts and respective colored shirts with their now famous symbol on it, and each girl is running on an isle of her respective member color in the group while reaching out with their hands forward, and their happy expressions and genuine smiles really light up the cover that is rather simple but really well executed.
Apart from that, the title of the single is written in accord with the single in bold white letters and with the ↑ in the end underlining the whole title, and the same font is used for their name written in big letters in the background, and the overall feel of this cover is really amazing since they managed to keep it real and put in some of UUG’s most symbolic things such as the colors for each member as well as their symbol.
In other news, it has been announced that the girls are working on a new original song called Rainbow which fits perfectly with the group’s vibe right now, and even though we don’t know if it will get a physical release or if it’ll be just a new song for them to perform, but in both cases any new release from these girls is worth noticing, so hopefully more information will be out soon!
Hopefully everyone can check out the single on iTunes (even though you need a Japanese account-thanks to XinChun93 for the correction) and support the girls by purchasing a copy and enjoying this great energetic single!
