Tanaka Reina, Morning Musume 9th & 10th Generation Members To Star In A New Stage Play Titled “Stacey’s Shoujo Saisatsu Kageki”

It has been announced that Morning Musume’s Tanaka Reina and the 9th and 10th generation members will take part in a new stage play titled Stacey’s Shoujo Saisatsu Kageki (Stacey’s maiden repeated killing opera).

When I first read the announcement, I was really happy to see that the 10th generation members are getting their first chance at appearing in a stage play so soon since it has only been month since their addition to the group and it’ll be amazing to see their acting skills at the moment, and while Reina and the 9th generation members have already appeared in several stage plays either individually or all together, It’s always a pleasure to see them perform in various settings and in different storylines and roles.

Apart from that, the stage play seems really interesting since it mixes drama and tragedy with elegance, and while we don’t have a set theme for it yet, it looks promising as to the story, and having the girls as the main act for the stage play is the most impressive even though Reina, Riho and Kudou seem to have the most important parts.

Hopefully more information and reports about the stage play will be featured soon and I urge everyone who can attend a performance to do so in order to enjoy the play and check out the members’ acting skills as well.

The musical will run from 6/6~12.

Ugh, no Sayu and Aika, so sad >..>

yeah… cuz sayu and aika are better at acting than her… seriously with Gaki out Reina is the best you can get…

Just because you’re butthurt that your favorites aren’t in the play, doesn’t mean you have to be rude. (;¬_¬) Sayumi isn’t participating because of schedule conflicts and Aika is still going through rehabilitation for her ankle. This article didn’t report that but this was also mentioned along with the announcement.

Also, up until Reborn, Reina hasn’t had a lot of experience with acting (or at least, acting with a main role), so obviously she isn’t going to have perfect acting skills but she works hard. No need to bash someone for trying their best. (Especially when you considered the fact that Reina was suddenly told that she was going to be Aika’s replacement in Reborn, when they were already MONTHS into the production.)

Kudo’s headdress looks giant on her tiny head! I like the outfits.

I think you forget that Haruka has probably more stage experience then the 9th gen since she’s been in quite a few of them since joining at a H!P egg.

    • Ayuchii

I’m aware of that but I meant it as a general experience for all of them if you know what I mean… the 10th generation as a whole actually :)
Riho also got plenty of stage experience before joining if I’m not mistaking
