Niigaki Risa’s PV for Egao ni Namida ~ Thank you! My Dear Friends has been released.

The previews for this actually showed us a lot of the PV since it wasn’t made up of many different shots. There are only a few shots not shown and that’s the opening, ending and a scene where Gaki poses and takes a picture of herself.

There’s a few notable parts in the PV for me. The first would be the opening. The opening features a lot of scattered photos of Gaki, Ai-chan and the current line up of Morning Musume. I like the scatter photo idea but I would’ve liked to see more old ones pictures of Gaki and Morning Musume. Gaki’s been with Morning Musume for such a long time and because they used more recent group pictures it doesn’t feel like she’s been with the group for that long. I also understand that there might be some issues with using photos of graduated members so there’s also that to consider. I love the fact that instead of showing solo pictures of her (like they did for Ai-chan) they used group pictures. Gaki loves Morning Musume and just seeing all the photos of them and the way the PV ends is really touching.

The next part I really like is Gaki looking at the photos. She’s having a lot of fun just looking back on all the memories made and I would love to see an entire PV of just this scene. There’s a few parts where she flips the pictures around for viewers to see and a lot of time I just kept thinking  that it was very cute and touching. I would’ve like to see more of the pictures she was looking at too but what they had on here works well.

Overall the PV is very heart warming and everything fits Gaki so well on here. Hopefully everyone can check out the PV before it’s removed since it’s a must watch for every Gaki fan.
