Site: School is finally over!

First of all sorry for the lack of updates for the past few weeks. I’ve wanted to focus more on school since it was my last semester, and I’m glad to say that it seems to have paid off since I passed all of my classes, so thank you very much for the patience. The site was started around the second semester I started college so it has been a slight distraction from the start, but it’s great that school is finally over since I’ll be able to finally work more closely on the site and implement everything I haven’t had a chance to do.

Sure, once I start work I will probably have the same distraction but I plan on using the time from now until I find one to improve the site even more and provide H!P fans with the best that H!SN can offer.

Right now I don’t have a clear idea of what to start with but on Sunday I’ll see what I can start to implement since I’ll be very occupied tomorrow (graduation ceremony, meeting with family, etc), but it’s safe to say that H!SN will become even bigger than it is now, providing even more updates and features that all H!P fans worldwide will love.

Thank you for the patience, I’ll start working on the site even more by Sunday!

Social: 803 followers on Twitter and 801 fans on Facebook, and like every week a big thank you to everyone.

Thank you to everyone for helping us reach 800 followers in both the Twitter and Facebook pages, it’s hard to believe that the Facebook page is relatively young in comparison to our Twitter and yet they both have around the same amount of followers. Facebook does have various advantages over Twitter since we can post images and other small stuff without the character limit, but Twitter is very important since it’s faster on publishing news so I’m glad to see that they both have been received positively during the past year.

Now that school is over I’ll work even more to make sure H!SN’s Twitter is even more up to date with everything that has to be posted, and I’ll find a way of further improving the unique style that Twitter has since I want to give those who follow the Twitter account a chance to enjoy a few more unique bonuses. The Facebook page is very well maintained by our own Hanii and Jessi so a big thank you to them both for keeping the page very active with photos and other updates

Thank you for the patience, the Twitter account will be very active by Sunday!

Like always a big thank you to everyone who follows the site, our Twitter account, as well as the Facebook page!

Polls: The winner for this poll was Fukumura Mizuki with 478 votes (57%), congratulations Mizuki! Wada Ayaka came in second with 206 votes (24%), and Iikubo Haruna came in third with 161 votes (19%).

There was a total of 845 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Mizuki!

First of all, I wanted to mention that I didn’t have a chance to include a graph image since my software for that doesn’t seem to work anymore, but I’ll see if I can add them for future posts.

That being said, Mizuki seems to have dominated this poll, and it’s not that surprising to see since she managed to get around 60% of the votes, a really large difference compared to Ayaka’s 24% total. I’m not really sure why she has had so much success, but it seems like her shy personality seems to have attracted many fans, which is nice to see since all of the members deserve to have that attention. Ayaka really surprised me since she got around 1/4 of the votes, something that is incredible in comparison to her earlier polls. Anyone can choose who they want to support so I’m glad to see that support for her has grown incredibly during the past few appearances.

Iikubo hasn’t had much of a chance to stand out and for the most part she doesn’t have a unique characteristic that sets her apart from the others yet so that may be a reason, but with time we should see her personality come out a bit more and she should soon be getting many more votes. Overall Ayaka really impressed me with her large and steady jump in votes, while Mizuki continues to be among the primary winners for the polls, so it will be interesting to see how she does against other members who usually win (Reina, Sayu, Airi, etc).

For now good luck to Ayaka and Haruna with their next polls, but congratulations to Mizuki!

For the next poll it’s Ishida Ayumi, Tokunaga Chinami, and Kikkawa Yuu, and right from the start it seems like Ayumi might have a slight advantage since she seems to be among the popular members of her generation. It will be interesting to see how it turns out since both Chii and Kikka both have had relatively decent success in polls although both haven’t had a chance to win yet.

Congratulations Yuuka!

The winner for this poll was Maeda Yuuka with 439 votes (37%), congratulations Yuuka! Fujimoto Miki came in second with 256 votes (21%), Goto Maki came in third with 209 votes (17%), Yaguchi Mari came in fourth with 197 votes (16%), Abe Natsumi came in fifth with 96 votes (8%).

There was a total of 1,197 votes for this poll.

The results for the most part didn’t change, with Yuuka remaining in first, followed by Miki, Goto, Yaguchi, and Abe. This isn’t that surprising since after all most of the votes come in during the 1st week, but it’s nice to see that a few more additional votes can help improve the totals for each member. Some of the older members, like Abe, haven’t had that large of a vote total but it’s still great that there are votes for them since it shows that despite not being particularly active they do have support.

Yuuka and other recent members have had a large advantage since most of the people who visit the site still remember them and got a chance to see them be part of their groups before graduating, so I’ll see if I can include all of the recent graduates in a poll to compare them.

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the H!P poll HERE.

Shuukan Hello: It’s time for another Utaban episode!

I originally planned on showing a two part episode of Utaban but due to Mitsui’s sudden graduation announcement I replaced that with an episode where she first appears on Hello! Morning. Now that I showed that episode I wanted to show the 2nd part of the special before moving to another show, so here’s the second part of the special showing us a very unique theme for the H!P 2003 Shuffle groups.

Instead of a traditional talk we get to see the members dressed up as cards where Taka-san and Nakai both battle in a somewhat strange poker battle. The episode is among my favorite since we get to see many funny moments from the start to the end, so I’m confident that everyone will like it.

Also a small note about last week’s Hello! Morning episode, I had some trouble with the video last week since Youtube said I couldn’t upload videos longer than 15 minutes, so I had to split the video into three parts. For some reason they’ve re-enabled that option again so I’ll replace the three parts of the last Shuukan Yoro post with the full video as soon as possible.

That being said, please enjoy this 2nd part of the H!P shuffle 2003 Utaban special!
