A preview of the outfits for Morning Musume’s 50th single titled One・Two・Three/ The Matenrou Show has been released.
The preview was released after the most recent Hello! Pro Time episode, and the complete jacket photo shoot segment will air next week.
With the single just two months away from being released it was expected that we would get some more info soon about it, and thankfully it seems like we’re starting to get a few, with footage of the jacket shoot for the single showing us how the outfits for the next single will look.
Since the shots of the outfit came from a short preview at the end of an episode we don’t really know exactly if the outfits will be for all of the single or if we will have separate outfits for each song, like in Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo! / Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai!, but either way it seems like we are in for quite a treat since the outfits look really unique and impressing.
Each member has a similar outfit with a black and white skirt as well as a cute lacy white top. Apart from the standard look each member gets their own uniquely colored accessories in their member color, most notably the shoes, socks, bracelets, bows, and necklace. This is a great look that fits in well with the group, and while the colored accessories seem to clash a bit with the black and white look I have to admit that I really liked them since it makes it easy to tell who is who while giving them a different look.
Something worth pointing out is that despite being leader Sayu appears on the side along with Mizuki, Kanon, Ikuta, and Kudou. Usually it’s the other way around with leaders appearing in the first row, but it seems like an interesting layout since Haruna, Ayumi, and Sato are in the front. Apart from that the hair styles for each member are really interesting since most are new, such as Kudou’s fancy style, Riho’s hair on one side, Haruna’s similar style to Sayu in her Sayuminglandoll PB, Mizuki’s wavy style and more.
It will be fun to see how the styles and looks compare to each other when the official profile pictures are updated so hopefully we get to see them be released sometime soon, but so far I’m really impressed with the outfits since they have a cute fancy style.
The release date is set for 7/4.
