A short 30 second MV preview for Kitahara Sayaka’s 4th single titled Natsu ga Yattekuru has been released.
For the most part 30 seconds isn’t that much time to fully judge an MV, but it does give us a good hint at what to expect from the full MV. From the shots I saw I can say for sure that this release will be among the best from Sayaka since they’re really impressive and unique, showing off a summer look that many will love.
Most of the MV takes place in a beach with the primary shot being that of Sayaka sitting on a fallen tree and singing in a white outfit. We also get to see her singing standing up on the beach and just posing dramatically as the song plays. One shot that I really loved features her playing around on the beach with an old filter on the footage to make it look a bit more aged, and while I don’t know how it fits into the whole MV it seemed like a nice way of making the fun moments seem like a good memory.
For the most part the preview is nice since we get to see various shots and angles they will use and while the beach setting gets somewhat overused (there are only 2 seconds where there is no ocean in the background) it seems like the perfect release for the song since it mixes the summer feeling of the song with an inspirational and visually impressive setting.
Hopefully we get the full MV soon but for now I really like how it looks so far, so please check it out!
The release date is set for 6/13.
