Site: Updates for the site are currently being implemented!

As I mentioned last week I was going on a small weekend trip, so unfortunately most of the weekend and early week were very busy for me and I couldn’t work much on the site (apart from a small post I made when I had a some internet). Thankfully I arrived on Wednesday so it seems like any other distractions are over for the time being. What does this mean? The site will be updated quicker and I will be able to work even more on the site.

I spent most of yesterday posting anything that we missed during the past few weeks so that took a bit more time than expected, but I’ll use this weekend to update the Links page and the Birthday page. After that I want to work on some Hello! Review’s for next week and release them as soon as possible, as well as updating the Review section with the section for all of the other reviews we’ve done.

Now that I have some more free time before I get a job I’ll do my best to make sure the site is vastly improved, so please look forward to those improvements!

Social: 818 followers on Twitter and 820 fans on Facebook, and like every week a big thank you to everyone.

The Twitter account is once again active with updates apart from the usual automatic reminders from the site, but since I’ve only been back working on the site 2 days I haven’t had a chance to post much on it since weekends are usually quieter. Despite that I’ll make sure that all updates that don’t make it to the site are posted on Twitter while our Facebook team consisting of Hanii and Jessi will continue to post as always with a great mix of fun and informative content.

All of our sites and pages should be fully active by next week with all H!P news possible!

Like always a big thank you to everyone who follows the site, our Twitter account, as well as the Facebook page!

Polls:

The winner for this poll was Nakajima Saki with 428 votes (52%), congratulations Nakky! Mano Erina came in second with 253 votes (31%), and Katsuta Rina came in third with 137 votes (17%).

There was a total of 818 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Nakky!

Nakky has always been among the strongest competitors when it comes to polls, and from the results it’s easy to see why since she managed to get around half the votes. According to the results from last year she only managed to win member of the week once, but so far it seems like she’s off to a great start and she will probably win at least once more, which is great since definitely deserves to get a higher result by the end of the year.

Apart from that Mano managed to get a great result in comparison to her past polls, by getting second place she didn’t exactly win but it’s a step in the right direction, so I hope we can eventually see her win. Rina usually places 3rd and not surprisingly she placed 3rd again, but I hope with time that she can move to 2nd place and even 1st since she is a great S/mileage member.

For now good luck to Rina and Mano with their next polls, but congratulations to Nakky!

For the next poll it’s Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina, and Suzuki Airi, and as you can tell the poll is probably one where we can expect to see a large amount of competition since all of the members in it are the top three winners for 2011. It’s usually hard to place these three among other members since they usually come out winning, so once in a while I like to place them in a single poll so everyone has an equal chance. It will be interesting to see how it comes out this time since Sayu is currently in 1st with Gaki graduating, so hopefully everyone votes!

It’s also time for another UFA poll!

This time we have Takahashi Ai, Kamei Eri, Jun Jun, Yoshizawa Hitomi, and Ishikawa Rika, and as you can probably tell Ai-chan, Jun Jun, and Kamei will probably have somewhat of an advantage over Yossie and Rika, but it will be fun to see how it turns out since after all there are two weeks for voting instead of the traditional one week.

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the H!P poll HERE and the UFA poll HERE.

Please vote!

Shuukan Hello: It’s time for a Haromoni@ episode!

We’ve spent quite some time on the Utaban and Hello Morning series so it’s time to move on to another H!P series, Haromoni@. Personally I liked the series and while there are many great candidates for the next episode I decided to go ahead with the Best Of episode featuring various clips from the series.

As the name suggests we’ll be able to see various clips from the series, and while some might not like Best Of shows it’s a nice reminder for those who loved the series as well as those who didn’t get to see much of it since the clips included are all amazing. From Gakikame’s theater to clips of Sayu, Reina, Kamei, Ai-chan, and more, it’s a great episode to watch for those who liked the series.

Hopefully everyone enjoys the episode!

Thank you for the Haromoni@ clips. I love those.

How was the weekend trip? Where have you been? :)

I’ve followed your polls for quite some time now, so I’d like to know something. Would you also consider making polls of, let’s say, former groups instead of just UFA (and a few non-UFA) members?

I could imagine a “Who was the best Country Musume guest member in your opinion?” (Rika, Konkon or Mikitty) poll or about Melon Kinenbi, Ongaku Gatas or the current group Up Up girls very well :).

It went really well, we helped my brother move into his new apartment so it was a fun experience ^_^

That is an excellent idea! I usually set the member choice a bit too broad so by doing it by group it should be interesting to see what happens. I’ll see how I can implement it and I’ll add it soon, thank you for the suggestion!

I’m glad that everything went well :). Moving is often so stressful ^^;. The company, which I have been working for for six years, also had to move recently.

        You’re welcome ;).

Loved the recap of the series. I would love it if they did an H!P show like this again.
