LQ covers from H!P’s official website for BeriKyuu’s 2nd single titled Chou HAPPY SONG have been released.
Also as a small mention, both Captain and Mai blogged about filming the MV for this song yesterday, so we can assume that there will indeed be an original MV specially for the release.
This single is special in all kind of ways, and with the recent announcement of the PV, I’m more than glad that we get to see the covers right now even if they are in LQ, and my only concern was that they used in the covers the outfits of the groups’ respective album outfits for their latest releases, which might mean that they will use them again in the PV (but maybe not).
Apart from that, the cover all seem to have a very interesting theme since they played with the fact that the 2 groups are mixing up for this single while featuring for example either C-ute or Berryz as the main girls on Limited C and D which are their respective special editions, and the Regular edition alongside Limited A and B are more fun to look at since they have a sort of manga theme with the girls standing in colorful boxes for Limited B that look like a puzzle, have their faces put all together separated by a pink background for the regular edition, and for Limited A which is definitely my favorite where they seem to have done a little storyline to the members with their poses and adding some text to explain what they’re doing.
All of the covers are very colorful and really attractive which somewhat makes up for the fact that they aren’t using new outfits in them, and I really like how they managed to make them original and use a very clever idea (the manga style) to set them apart and make each one unique, while the whole contrast of the 2 groups and their unity is shown in every cover too, specially in Limited C and D since they mix up the blue and pink colors of each group while giving each group more advantage on a cover, which makes it easier for fans to know which editions contains what (just like in Amazuppai Haru ni Sakurasaku).
Hopefully fans who haven’t done so can reserve their copies to enjoy this great release and I’m excited to see how the PV will look like since it must be as original as the covers to compliment such a great single.
The release date is set for 6/20.
