Shuukan Yoro! Vol 147

Site Feature:

Every few weeks (depending on the amount of requests), I’ll showcase the sites that have been added to the Links page of the site. This will include a snapshot of the site as it is now and a small first impression of the site, so it will hopefully encourage everyone to check out the sites so they have a more well rounded source of H!P sites to enjoy.

There are 2 sites to showcase this week, starting with Hello! Blog Days:

There aren’t that many blogs that feature two different groups as the focus but I’m glad to see that there is a site like this since it gives fans from both groups a chance to enjoy updates in one place. The blog has quite a lot of content with discography and profiles and updates are done fast and full of details.

I really like the banner of the site since it features all of the platinum era Momusu members and the great amount of content so please check it out!

Next up is Airiin Deshou?!:

Airii~n Deshou?! hardly needs any introduction since it’s a very well known site by Jedimastertrunks. From appearance alone I was impressed since it has a nice large banner as well as some great up to date content. I’m glad to see that visuals are just the tip of the iceberg since there is much more, including a DVD donation project where fans cooperate to get a DVD together, it’s uploaded for everyone to enjoy, and which he later gives away to one of those who helped donate. It’s a very interesting way of getting a release that normally wouldn’t be uploaded and one of the many great aspects of the site.

If you haven’t already done so I strongly encourage you to check it out since it’s a great site for everyone to enjoy!

If you would like to appear in this section please send us your link requests through the contact us page or comment below.

Site: The Links page is finally updated!

It took quite some time but finally the Links page has been updated with the sites I showcased last week. I wanted to add a few more sites and official blogs that have been made but I’m thinking of changing the Links page to images instead of using the current code since it took me quite some time to update it. The advantage of this would be that I could easily add sites without worrying about format since images automatically move if I add a new one in between, but the main disadvantage would be that the text links wouldn’t be available.

Despite that I plan on most likely changing it to images only with text embedded in the image, so I’ll make sure to have a small example by next week so that everyone knows how it will look.

Apart from that the Birthday page is almost done, I will add a few dates for the new Kenshuusei and members that have been added and it will be up by the end of the weekend. The Review page will also be updated by then since it’s easy in comparison to re-writing the code for an entire page.

Also, like always I’ll have a post with a summary of Berryz Koubou’s appearance at AnimeNEXT by the tomorrow (based on other fan reports). I wanted to do one today but from experience the reports and pictures will start to appear once the event is nearing a close so I’ll wait a bit to make it. You can expect to see the same amount of detail and photos as past event summaries though so hopefully everyone is looking forward to that.

Social: 841 followers on Twitter and 839 fans on Facebook, and like every week a big thank you to everyone.

Not much to update in this section this week either since updates have been flowing somewhat normally now that the Links page is done. There was a small break from the Twitter updates due to a personal problem I had to fix (the 12 updates plus 4 tweets in one day were the result of that small break) but for the most part updates are flowing much more regularly so expect to see more activity from the Twitter account from now on!

Like always a big thank you to everyone who follows the site, our Twitter account, as well as the Facebook page!

Polls:

The winner for this poll was Natsuyaki Miyabi with 381 votes (39%), congratulations Miyabi! Suzuki Kanon came in second with 335 votes (34%), and Okai Chisato came in third with 259 votes (27%).

There was a total of 975 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Miyabi!

Miyabi is among the top winners for polls on this site so I’m happy to see that she gets to keep that title since she managed to win by a slightly close result against the others. Kanon and Chisa have won their fair share of polls and the results reflect that since they are all pretty close to even.

Kanon has slowly become a fan favorite among many so it was interesting to see that she got 2nd place since she has won almost every one of the polls she has been in, but it’s good to see that the results were very close with only around 50 votes compared to Miyabi. Chisa did get 3rd place but her results are pretty high against many so I’m happy to see that she did get rather close to the others in their results.

For now good luck to Kanon and Chisa with their next polls, but congratulations to Miyabi!

For the next poll it’s Ikuta Erina, Kumai Yurina, and Takeuchi Akari, and while Kumai might have been in H!P longer it will be fun to see how it turns out since Erina has shown quite a large jump in fans as well as Akari. Hopefully everyone votes by next week!

Here are the results for the UFA poll:

The winner for this poll was Takahashi Ai with 564 votes (42%), congratulations Ai-chan! Kamei Eri came in second with 384 votes (28%), Jun Jun came in third with 209 votes (15%), Yoshizawa Hitomi came in fourth with 144 votes (11%), Ishikawa Rika came in fifth with 55 votes (4%).

There was a total of 1,197 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Ai-chan!

As expected Ai-chan completely dominated the polls getting a really high result, with Kamei and Jun Jun trailing close behind. I expected to see this happen so there aren’t that many surprises, and it seems like pretty much most of the members came in their expected place. Despite that it was interesting to see how many votes they each received and I’m glad that Kamei, Jun Jun, and Yossie got somewhat high results.

For the next poll I’ll group the members a bit better since it seems like grouping them with different generations gives them a bit of an unfair advantage, so next time expect to see a much improved UFA poll.

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the H!P poll HERE.

Please vote!

Shuukan Hello: It’s time for another Hello! Pro Time episode!

Like always we show two episodes from HPT at a time to catch up on the series, and with it being replaced by a new one a few days ago it means that we might be able to completely show all of it by the end of this year. I am thinking of increasing it to three episodes of HPT to get the series done faster but I’ll probably stick to the usual two per month with other videos.

That being said this episode features quite a lot of content, starting with some scenes from S/mileage’s member auditions, as well as scenes of Airi drawing, Captain with her cute dog, Mano at an event in Korea, S/mileage at a Disney related event, and finally some more scenes of the S/mileage event. It’s certainly among the best episodes since it has so many different scenes, so I hope everyone can check it out!
