It has been announced that Berryz Koubou’s Tokunaga Chinami and Kumai Yurina will be getting their own radio show.
I really didn’t expect such news to pop up since everyone knows that Kumai and Chii are some of the less promoted members (mostly Chii since Yurina has some decent solo releases, from PBs to DVDs), but seeing that they will be gathering up every week for their own radio show is something that makes me really happy, and that would please most of their fans.
The pairing is somewhat intriguing since we don’t see Kumai and Chinami hang out that often like other members do, but I take this positively since we’ll be able to see their true bond and they are some of the most entertaining members ever thanks to their natural charisma, and even though there doesn’t seem to be a specific theme for this show, I hope that it will be a great listen to all of their fans that will definitely enjoy it.
The show will be broadcasted every Sunday on Radio Nippon at 1:30 AM (JST) starting from 7/8.
