A Berryz Koubou x C-ute Chou HAPPY SONG Android app has been released.

With a new single release we usually don’t get to see many app releases to help promote a single, and it’s somewhat disappointing since they are great ways to help encourage those who have mobile devices to enjoy a special extra along with the single. Thankfully it seems like we have one for Berryz Koubou and C-ute’s and while it seems incredibly simple it seems like a nice app to try at least once.
From what I can tell it’s basically an app that allows you to cross fade between the two songs, so by moving the slider at the bottom you can increase the volume of one song by moving it toward that cover (move the slider to the left and you’ll only hear Berryz song, etc). It’s a nice touch since everyone can listen to three songs, but from what I can tell the average person will get bored after a while since there doesn’t seem to be much else to do.
A app was also released from the Up Up Girls a few months ago and it featured a more interactive experience (basically Guitar Hero) so while this app doesn’t have that much re-playability in comparison it still seems like a nice way to promote the release and it should give everyone a chance to feel like a DJ for around a minute or so.
I haven’t had a chance to use it but the iOS version should be released soon so I’ll update with my impressions in that post, but for now it seems like a small bonus for fans to enjoy. Sure, it might not be an Berryz Koubou x C-ute DJ Hero or DDR but it’s still a nice extra for fans to enjoy.
