A radio preview for one of the two c/w’s from Kikka’s upcoming single titled 17sai has been released.
We got a chance to hear a preview of Kikka’s song Koko Kara Hajimarunda and from what we could tell she seems to be moving to a more pop and upbeat style that seems to fit her really well, at least for this release which was led by a vocaloid expert. Not surprisingly it seems like the c/w has a similar style with a upbeat and electronic filled instrumental and great vocals by Kikka.
The first thing many will notice is that the instrumental is a bit overwhelming compared to the vocals. It’s hard to not notice it since Kikka’s voice gets a bit drowned out in some parts of the song, and while I didn’t like that I was happy to see that the song does have a catchy style to it. I’m a big fan of electronic music so I naturally like the song compared to her previous releases which were a bit too calm at times.
Overall, the instrumental might be a bit overwhelming compared to the vocals but it has a nice sound that’s catchy, and while it’s only a segment of the song it seems like we’re in for a great single since it’s a sound that fits well with her image.
Hopefully everyone can check out the preview!
The release date is set for 7/11.
