A MV preview for StylipS’s 3rd single titled Choose Me♡Darling has been released.
With a single just a few months ago it was just a matter of time until we got a chance to listen to the song, and thankfully it seems like we’re able to check out the song along with the MV for the release, and so far it seems like this single will be among their best so far.
This is the 1st time we’re able to hear the song (apart from the instrumental on the anime preview) and for the most part I really liked this song over their last single. It has an upbeat and catchy sound that has a great summer theme, and while the song sounds like many other anime songs (synthesizer heavy instrumental, cute vocals, etc) it seems like they’re doing pretty well so far and I’m really looking forward to the full song.
As for the MV itself, it has a heavy summer theme, but unlike Kitahara’s MV they went for a shot of the members on a boat in sailor outfits and cute casual outfits. There are various shots but like most of their preview releases they focus on three standard shots: dance shot, close-up shots of each member singing, and the shot of the members doing something cute (this time taking a group photo). The preview is around a minute and a half so we don’t have that much of a chance to see the full theme but so far I really liked it since the sound of the song definitely fit the setting.
Overall the single is looking incredible so far so I hope everyone is looking forward to the full MV!
The release date is set for 8/22.
