The Up Up Girls are invited to perform as the opening act at IDOL NATION.
Other idol groups who will perform alongside them are Idoling!!!, SKE48, SUPER GIRLS, Tokyo Girls Style, 9nine, and Cheeky Parade.
While they won’t be appearing on both of the appearances scheduled for that day it seems like being the opening act for this kind of event is a great opportunity for the group to promote themselves while giving idol fans a chance to listen to their songs. So far there aren’t that many details about what songs they will be performing, but I’m looking forward to finding out since there will most likely be many people attending with the usual media reports from sites like Oricon soon after.
The event featuring the Up Up Girls has sold out so hopefully everyone did get their ticket, if not I still encourage you to check out the event since it seems like a great way to enjoy many different groups.
The event will take place on 8/11.
