Shuukan Yoro! Vol 154

Site Feature: This section will be delayed another week for now due to a few computer problems, but rest assured I have received emails and I have those sites ready to showcase!

Site: Slight delay of the Kikka review, but it will be up by tomorrow!

Kikka’s review for her Koko Kara Hajimarunda! single will be up by tomorrow without any more delays. I mentioned last week that I had a few computer problems and while I thought they were mostly over with it seems like there are a few problems left behind, with most of the problems circulating around my computer freezing on certain sites that I use for info and on Youtube so needless to say I once again couldn’t work as much as I wanted on the site since I had to once again send it to be repaired.

Unfortunately the problems haven’t been fixed that well but for now it seems like the problems are a bit less noticeable so I’ll focus on catching up as much as possible this weekend.

The Kikka review I worked on didn’t save completely (unfortunately I was making the final changes and the computer froze when I was checking that the video for the MV was correct) but I’ll have it ready as soon as possible by tomorrow, so sorry again for the long delay. Along with that there was another release so there will be yet another review, which will hopefully be released by the end of this weekend if the computer cooperates:

I’ll have the review done as quickly as possible and posted so that everyone can check it out, and I’m pretty confident that I’ll have it done by tomorrow with Sunday as the day to polish it so this weekend should be full of reviews to enjoy.

The review page will be hopefully updated as well by the time the Berryz Koubou review is up so those who would like to check out the earlier reviews will be able to do so without having to worry about alternate links leading to the old site. That, along with the usual other planned site updates I haven’t done will be worked on as much as possible.

Again sorry for the long delay in updates, the virus really affected the computer, but once the computer problem is fixed I should be able to work on the site normally without any problems and update the site normally without any delays due to sites with info not loading.

Social: 930 followers on Twitter and 915 fans on Facebook, and like every week a big thank you to everyone.

Again, the computer problems really affected my ability to post anything on Twitter since any site with a video or a lot of images made my browser crash. For now the problem seems to be fixed for the most part so updates should resume normally, so I hope to have the account up to date along with the site.

Apart from that I have been thinking a more social addition to the site but plans are still a bit too early and I have no idea how to do it for now so I’ll have to leave it on the side. I’ll consider it a bit more once the two counters for the site reach 1000 followers on Twitter and 1000 fans on Facebook though so until then I’ll focus on Twitter.

For now thank you again to everyone for following us on both sites, and if you haven’t please consider following us on Facebook or Twitter for the latest updates about everything H!P!

Polls:

The winner for this poll was Mano Erina with 402 votes (44%), congratulations Mano! Kumai Yurina came in second with 346 votes (38%), and Nakanishi Kana came in third with 169 votes (18%).

There was a total of 917 votes for this poll.

Congratulations Mano!

Since the start of the polls most of the members in H!P have won at least once, all except for a few. Mano was among them, and it was surprising since she was quite popular when she debuted, although since she was a soloist and she didn’t receive much promotion as the years went by it was somewhat hard for her to get that level of exposure and her fan base was a bit lower compared to other groups. Nonetheless it seems like finally she has won, and while it’s most likely due to her graduation announcement I’m really happy to see that she has won once since it makes it a bit more special than just the usual “special appearance for a week” that all graduates have.

Other than that Kumai did get a really close result so it’s interesting to see that she would have won as well if she had had a few more votes. Kana on the other hand hasn’t had a chance to get a higher position. It’s somewhat strange to see so many S/mileage members in the same situation though (Wada, Meimi, Katsuta, etc), and while it might be related to their promotion level it seems like their next single might help them since it has a sound that many will love.

For now good luck to Kumai and Kana with their next polls, but congratulations to Mano!

For the next poll it’s Ishida Ayumi, Sugaya Risako, and Takeuchi Akari, and while Akari might have some trouble it seems like Risako and Ayumi will be the main standouts of this poll, but it’s still early though so anything can happen.

Quick check of the Hello! Project Kenshuusei poll!

  1. Miyamoto Karin
  2. Tanabe Nanami
  3. Kaneko Rie
  4. Takagi Sayuki

As I mentioned last week Karin would probably be taking the lead and not surprisingly it seems like she has quite a large percentage of the votes. Nonetheless it seems like the rest of the members are well known since votes are rather higher than I expected. Nanami is probably well known for her many stage play appearances so it’s not surprising that the name jumps out for many since she seems so far like one of the most popular fan Kenshuusei choices to be in Momusu.

Kaneko might have more experience in the group but it seems like she hasn’t stood out that much, although I expect that to change as we get to see more of her once the auditions start since she mentioned that she will be participating. In fact all of the members on the list above are participating, with Fuyuka as well although she’ll appear in a later poll. It will be fun to see how it ends but so far it seems like at least Nanami and Karin are among the top choices from fans for the next Momusu generation.

I still plan on compiling the info once all of the Kenshuusei get to appear so it will be fun to see how the results turn out, but for now it seems like Karin is in the lead with a somewhat hard to beat total.

To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the H!P poll HERE and the Kenshuusei poll HERE

Shuukan Hello: It’s time for another episode from Hello Pro Time!

Usually I like to show off two Hello! Pro Time episodes since we can show off the series a bit faster instead of just showing off one every few months, so once again we’re having another episode from the series.

This time the episode shows off the results of the S/mileage auditions with a few clips from the H!P Summer 2011 concert tour for everyone to enjoy. Sure, we already know the results, but reliving those moments when they found out they had won, and the clips of them appearing at the concert will probably be nostalgic for many who are big fans of the group.

Hopefully everyone enjoys the episode!

This video makes me cry so much. I have always been dreaming of joining Hello! Project. I wonder if it really happens :(

Don’t forget that Nanami Tanabe is also known for being the second Amulet Dia.

This. That’s how Nanami-chan came into H!P and what she has been known for the most so far :).

Rie Kaneko has only been in one more or less major thing apart from stageplays: being one of Mano Erina’s backdancers for the “Seishun no Serenade” MV.

Takagi Sayuki has caught some attention last year in the second round of the S/mileage audition because of her powerful voice. She has also got some movie and stageplay experience (among other things she had a role in that “3D” horror movie where Niigaki Risa also had a role).

All of them also were backdancers for Mano Erina in a lot of single performances and her tour recently and last year.

Hi, the smileage link on the discography page takes you to their profile instead of their releases :)

      Hi ^_^

Most of the links on the Discography page and the Profile section are broken since they didn’t transfer that well when we moved from the original site so they redirect to the closest link. We’ll fix that as soon as possible though, thank you for letting us know ^_^
