H!P Kenshuusei and JUICE=JUICE will be releasing a new single, it’s titled Ten made Nobore!

When I first saw the news it was very confusing mainly because the single was announced as “H!P Kenshuusei feat. JUICE=JUICE.” It’s still a bit hard to process but according to Tsunku there will be two versions of the song. The Kenshuusei will sing with JUICE=JUICE on their version while JUICE=JUICE’s version will have their own version with solo lines. The arrangement for each group also sounds like it’ll be different and I’m not sure where Tsunku is headed with all this so hopefully he’ll clarify a bit more.

Juice=Juice’s 3rd single is a warm medium song with a beautiful melody.

For their 1st and 2nd they had minor songs, made them able to start off with a cool image.
They have grown a bit lately and so let’s take a deep breath.

I want you to feel that these girls can do a lot of different things and while in the previous MVs
they weren’t allowed to smile pointlessly, for this one I want them to smile a lot.

Their image is completely different for this 3rd single, so I hope you look forward to it.

And this song, “Ten made nobore!” will also be Hello!Pro Kenshuusei’s 2nd indies single.
We’ll call it “Hello!Pro Kenshuusei feat. Juice=Juice.
Originally I wanted it to be the next theme song for the Kenshuusei. Some girls have been in for
several years aiming to debut. I made this song with these girls in mind, wanting them to aim
for the top and do their best!

If we’re going to be picky, Juice=Juice’s Miyazaki isn’t a Kenshuusei, and I’m sure a lot of people
will point this out. But I’ve paid attention to her since the S/mileage audition so she’s definitely
a big part of Hello! Project. Please let this be her chance to become a part of the group [T/N: H!P] too.

In the Juice=Juice version there will be solo parts and proper line distribution,
but for the Hello!Pro Kenshuusei feat. Juice=Juice version it’s all unison.

Making it this way, makes one change the way we listen to the song.

The “Hello!Pro Kenshuusei feat. Juice=Juice” version is more liberal and energetic
but I’ll have them sing it in a cool way.

They’ll get new outfits too, showing their great growth, so please look forward to “Hello!Pro Kenshuusei feat. Juice=Juice”!

Tsunku Blog Post

Tsugunaga Momoko will be releasing a photo essay book, it’s currently untitled.

I don’t recall seeing many photo essay books by H!P members so I’m not sure what to expect with this release. The release is set on a day called Nyan Nyan no Hi (Nyan Nyan Day) so that makes me even more curious as to what this release will be like. There’s no description available so it’s hard to tell what the release will be like. It’s also Momoko’s first photo essay book so we’ll just have to wait and see what this release will be like.

The release date is set on 06/22, hopefully more details will be coming soon.

The cover for Tanakamesen has been released.

CD Data Magazine is releasing a compilation book of Reina’s magazine series titled, Tanakamesen. The release features long interviews, unpublished photos and covers all the volumes from 2006-2013. There are two editions, a regular and Limited.

Regular

The regular cover features a close up shot of Reina looking directly at the camera, on the side the title is done in a cute pink and red bubble text. There’s a light dot border that surrounds Reina and it’s slightly angled so it sort of looks like a tilted picture frame. I think the cover looks very cute, it’s very simple and is very well done.

Limited

The Limited edition features a full body shot of Reina. They used all the same elements from the regular cover here but this cover looks more casual, sort of like it’s a photo that came from a blog post. Regardless though I think it still looks good and I like the cute black outfit Reina has on.

The regular edition releases on 05/21 and the Limited edition is only available for purchase at Budokan. Hopefully everyone can reserve a copy and show their support.

Limited Cover Barks News

I don’t want to say that this is the outfit for Golden Chinatown, there’s been no confirmation of a second single outfit so it’s possible that they might double up and use the same outfits twice so until then this is the outfit we have for their next release.

Their outfits are all gold and black with each member having a different style. Some have sleeves and are two piece and others are one piece.  They also have their own hairstyles and accessories which give them all a unique look and overall I think the outfits make them look like gladiators. The material the gold part of their outfits really shine and it just makes me think of a body shield.

It’s very different seeing Chinami with a short cut and I liked her look better with long hair so it’s going to take a while getting use to her new style. I really like Captain and Kumai’s photos here, they both just look absolutely beautiful, though everyone looks good in their own way.

Hopefully everyone takes a chance to check out their new profile pictures and let’s hope for a preview/confirmation of a 2nd outfit.

Berryz Koubou Profile

I think this is really great news for C-ute and I’m glad they’re next single is also a double A, it would be a bit sad to see them left out since S/mileage and Berryz Koubou are also doing a double too.

Their next single will be released in Limited A-D and there will be two Regular editions. The CD Japan description of the single says that Limited A,B,C and Regular A will have the same track list while Limited D and Regular B will have a different one so overall it looks like we may have 4 new songs for this release, which is awesome and I’d just like to call this a mini-album release already.

Hopefully we get confirmation on the track list soon so fans can start putting in their pre-orders, remember to reserve a copy and support C-ute.

C-ute’s 22nd single has been announced and a mic rip has been released. The single is titled Adam to Eve no Dilemma. (Adam and Eve’s Dilemma)

The new song is a fast paced song similar to their previous releases. The instrumentals sound really cool and I like the sound of  it so far based on the previews. There’s not a lot of reports about the choreography but I’m guessing that C-ute will be sticking to the sexy-cool dance route which sounds like a perfect match for the song’s title. 

According to some reports 2 outfits were used for the performance but neither has been confirmed for the single. Only 1 outfit has been pictured and it’s a dark green 2 piece outfit. The outfits has a modern day Tarzan look to it and their neck accessories makes me think of vines so it adds more to the jungle theme.

The single was just announced so there’s not much information about it, hopefully we’ll get more soon. Until then remember to support C-ute and reserve a copy when the single releases on 07/10.

The song is a bit all over, it’s fast and slow at different parts and it’s very different from any S/mileage song we’ve had before. I believe the title translates to something like “the new me” so I think this may be hinting that S/mileage’s image may be changing.

There are a few memorable parts for me. The opening is one of them, it sounds like there’s a cool robo dance to it. Then there’s a part before the chorus where the lower the background music and they do sort of a chant-sing. That part is just so different from the rest of the song, it’s a bit weird and eerie but I like how it sounds. The chorus also has a strong impact, especially near the middle when they have solo lines, their vocals are just strong and the audience responds well to these parts.

The outfits has also been confirmed by Meimi and Kana’s blog. They’re white business suit outfits with a slit in the middle front which exposes their mid-section and there’s a black metal stud belt for all of them. The outfits are a bit plain and simple but they look great for everyone.

The strong point of the song is definitely the vocals, there’s a lot of high notes here, Risako, Miyabi and Momoko are the main vocalist for the song and all of them do exceptional job as always but Momoko’s vocals stand out a bit more and I think her vocals work well in the song.The instrumental has a nice beat to it, there’s a lot of high pitch beeps and synthesizers. 

Golden Chinatown didn’t have a strong impact for me so I was a bit worried this release might be a bit dull but Sayonara Usotsuki no Watashi sounds really good and leaves a good impression so I’m looking forward to seeing more of both songs.

There’s a lot of nice highlights about the concert and no “bad” news like a graduation was announced so everything is quite positive.

There are 4 new songs that were performed and announced at the event so concert rips are coming out and I’m excited to check out all the new songs.

I’m glad to see that Aika performed a solo and I was hoping to see a bit of the Satoyama groups perform but I guess they’re performances are being saved for the Summer concerts.

Finally, it was announced that Berryz Koubou is performing at Budokan. With that, H!P will have 3 performances there this year and that’s really great news since they’re being recognized more. Hopefully they’ll be able to add more concert performances there in the future since it’s a prestigious venue.

The cover for LoVendoЯ’s first mini album titled, “Cover the Rock” has been released.

The cover features all four members set in front of a vibrant red background in cool/sexy black outfits and with Yuki and Marin holding their guitars. The title is done in a black and white gradient and the LoVendoЯ logo is  placed on the center and it really pops because of the coloring.

I’m really impressed by the cover because everyone looks amazing and very professional. I haven’t heard of any of the members having previous experience in the entertainment industry (except Reina) so it’s quite a surprise for me to see them all looking sharp on the cover.

Previews of the album are slowly coming in and there hasn’t been a confirmed track list yet so hopefully we’ll get one soon. Other than that remember to reserve a copy and support LoVendoЯ!

Iida Kaori has given birth to a baby boy!

She hasn’t mentioned his name yet but he weighs 2.9kg (about 6 pounds) and was born on 05/13. Kaori blogged that he is currently healthy, which is the most important part. Other than that I hope Johnson is also doing well and congratulations to the new parents!
